The 1st Vocational Skills Competition of the People’s Republic of China was held in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province from December 10 to 13, 2020, with Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. serving as an official sponsor. For the “Information Network Cabling Skills” competition, the Company ӣ����Ƶ optical fiber fusion splicers and optical fibers, and delivered technical support. The Company is pleased to share the comments of the gold and silver medalists about the products and support it offered.

In the “Information Network Cabling Skills” competition, which the Company sponsored, 29 participants worked on five issues concerning generic cabling on premises, in a building and in a house, and competed in terms of accuracy and speed. The Company ӣ����Ƶ TYPE-82C+ and T-400S optical fiber fusion splicers, FC-8R optical fiber cleavers, field installable connectors and optical panels, and instructed the participants on how to use the products, thereby supporting the operation of the competition. The Company received favorable comments from the participants, such as “The fusion splicers are reliable with high fusion splicing performance,” “The fusion splicing speed is high and the cleaver is easy to use,” and “I am grateful for the detailed technical support.”
